HALT


We live in a busy world.


Knowing this makes it a priority for self-care.


Taking time out for things you enjoy and bring peace of mind.


Being out in nature or gardening are beautiful ways to ground yourself.


Grounding is when we bring ourselves back to our center from feeling scattered or overwhelmed.


We can take off our shoes and walk on the grass or dirt.


We will feel a connectedness. Even hugging a tree is revitalizing to our soul.


I love listening to sound healing or guided meditations and practice this daily.

Not because I am perfect, more because I need the balance!


I can feel when I am getting off course.

There is a saying in the 12 step program called H.A.L.T it’s an acronym don’t let yourself get to Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired. If any of these are out of balance, it gets us wonky.

I have always loved this as a measurement.
